Which file

  • ...-self-contained.zip — needs nothing installed. Start here.
  • ...win-x64.zip — smaller, needs the .NET 9 desktop runtime.

Each contains NoSilence.exe (the tray app) and NoSilence.Console.exe
(the same program, for commands that print output).

The binaries are not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen will warn on first
run: More info → Run anyway. SHA256SUMS.txt is attached.

With the last release the threshold was set way too high causing background music to start playing during random moments when your main PC audio got a bit too quiet. Fixed that issue.

Features:
