UDP Port Scanning

Any chance we can scan UDP ports within the Port Scanner tool?

There is no reliable way to confirm whether a UDP port is open, since a port can be open and receive data without ever sending a reply. nmapfor example addresses this by sending protocol-specific payloads (e.g., DNS queries on port 53/UDP) depending on the port, hoping to provoke a response.

Maybe it would be possible to send empty packets and check whether an ICMP "port unreachable" message is returned — this would reliably indicate the port is closed. No response at all would mean open OR filtered (by a firewall), since we can't distinguish between the two.

Yeah I read a little about this online and do appreciate it's not so easy. We are just used to other tools, such as "Advanced Port Scanner" being able to do it. We are really hoping/planning on being able to use your amazing tool as a replacement to a multitide of other tools we use.
