What is new since 3.3.6

• Mac: History uses two columns on a wide window, the Search field runs the full width of the shelves with recent searches as pills, and the shelves under it show whole columns instead of a cut off edge. Tab titles sit at the same height on every tab.
• Filters: pills sit side by side with their title count instead of one to a row. A site that runs under several names, such as AsuraScans and Asura Scans, is one pill that selects all of them. History groups its filters under Library and Type, leaves out any that would match nothing, and folds a long list of sources behind Show All Sources.
• Novel reader: a page break no longer trims the tails of letters like p, g and y on the last line of a page, or shows them as specks at the top of the next page.
• Fonts: Interface Font set to System and the reader's System font now follow the font your device uses, instead of a fixed one.
• Mac direct download: Settings > iCloud Sync now says that iCloud is not part of this download, instead of asking you to sign in. Library Sync does the same job.

Everything in 3.3.6 is included: Continue Reading follows your History, Join Community follows the invite on boundless.moe, and all of 3.3.5, from Mihon and Paperback import to the faster Library.

Everything in 3.3.5 is included: Mihon and Paperback import with automatic matching, duplicate merging, three matching modes, Undo Import, the Auto Backup fix, faster Library loading and refresh, and the reader and glass fixes.

Import and migration

• Importing a Mihon or Paperback backup now moves each title to the best match on your installed sources, in the background. A small pill shows progress, and you can minimise it and keep reading.
• The same series from two files, or twice in one file, is merged into one title. Importing again never brings back a title you already moved.
• Pick how matches are chosen: Smart (default), My priority list, or No priority. Clear matches are applied for you. Anything unclear goes to a Review list. Titles with no source yet wait, and move on their own when you add one.
• Imported titles get their own "Imported from Mihon" or "Imported from Paperback" category and no longer land in your own categories. Settings > Backup has Undo Import.
• The old Migrate screen and the Library banner button are gone. The banner is now a small status.

Fixes

• Fix the Library being flooded after importing from Mihon or Paperback.
• Fix Auto Backup possibly saving an empty library.
• Faster Library loading and refresh. Pull to refresh no longer waits for the whole check.
• Fix the novel reader text shifting when the toolbar appears.
• Fix AniList updates failing with a validation error, and Kitsu clearing ratings.
• Fix the background flashing.
• Smoother glass on weaker Android phones, and less memory use on iPhone.

Boundless 3.3.1

• Import Backup now reads Mihon and Tachiyomi backups (.tachibk) and Paperback archives (.pas4), bringing in your library, categories, history, read chapters and tracker links
• Titles from those apps keep their original source, so use Migrate in your Library to move them to an installed source, and the chapters you read carry over by chapter number
• Tracker links come across only for trackers you have already connected

Windows (preview)

First Windows build, x64: download boundless-v3.3.1-windows-x64.zip, unzip it anywhere and run boundless.exe. Needs Windows 10 or later and the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime.

Known issues:

• The v4 glass look (liquid glass chrome and backdrops) lags on Windows. It is still in progress, so glass chrome is off by default; leave it off for now.
• A rare crash on launch (seen about once in seven launches). Reopening the app works.
• The window title bar shows the default Windows frame rather than the Mac-style chrome.

Boundless 3.3.0

• Art backgrounds now run behind the Mac sidebar, and the Settings pages are clear so all three columns show the same art
• Visual effects now sit under covers and cards, follow your display refresh rate, and rain falls along its own slant. Reduce Visual Effects turns them off, which also saves battery
• Continue Reading is a new card shelf. Pick Cards, Covers, Compact or Off under Appearance > Library Cards
• Tap a Continue Reading title to resume at your last spot, long press to open its page, and titles you have opened but not finished a chapter of now appear. The count now reads +N New
• A mouse now gets hover page arrows
• Appearance settings flow into two balanced columns on wide panes, and Statistics Period and Type are compact segmented controls
• The held highlight on Mac sidebar rows now follows the glass pill
• Fix the Settings name showing cut off at the start
• Includes the wavy loading track fix from 3.2.1

• Source Safety under Privacy lets you hide titles by their source's safety level and pause progress sharing while in Incognito
• Database Discovery now lives under Settings > Tracking, and Discover is no longer in Browse
• The series page header keeps Back, Save and Track in view and puts the rest in a More menu that follows the page color
• If a site's security check fails, Boundless now offers a browser window so you can finish the check and carry on
• Also new: reading statistics with a Reading Record for each title, History settings, wavy loading indicators, download speed controls, and a Screenshots option in App Lock on Android
• Fix finished chapters showing 100 percent in History
• Fix the Library title being squeezed by crowded header buttons
