The first release of TuningMac: a system-wide equalizer that lives in your Mac's menu bar.

What's inside

• 10-band equalizer with a live spectrum, presets, and bass/treble/balance controls
• Per-app volume: turn one app down without touching the rest
• Multi-output with Auto Sync: play to several speakers at once, kept in time
• Headphone noise controls and Bluetooth battery levels
• Per-device sound: each pair of headphones or speakers remembers its own settings

Install

1. Download TuningMac.dmg below and drag TuningMac to Applications.
2. Open it. If macOS says it can't check the app for malicious software, go to System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. You only need to do this once.
3. Allow System Audio Recording when asked.
4. Paste the license key from your purchase email, or click Activate in TuningMac on the page you saw after checkout.

Requires macOS 14.2 Sonoma or later. A license key is required. Get one at tuningmac.com.
