Dispatch brings Claude and Codex sessions into one macOS workspace, with integrated terminals and a notch companion for keeping track of work.

Fixed

• The notch companion returns to the finished animation after a reaction when work is complete, instead of remaining in the blue working state.
• Bot colors now follow the same working and done theme colors as session status indicators, while preserving explicit bot-color overrides.
• Status changes that arrive during a reaction are applied when the companion returns to its resting state.

• The universal app includes both CPU architectures in Electron and the terminal binaries. macOS selects the matching architecture automatically.
• The universal DMG is the installer; the universal ZIP and blockmaps support automatic updates from earlier signed beta releases.
• The app is signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
• Publishing is automated when changes merge into the private source repository's release branch, after build, test, architecture, signature, notarization, and upload checks.

This remains a beta. Intel runtime testing on Apple Silicon uses Rosetta and does not replace testing on native Intel hardware. Imported conversations are read-only; resuming creates a Dispatch-owned session.

Dispatch’s first Developer ID signed and Apple-notarized beta, for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

• macOS verifies the app using Developer ID Application: Shubh Thorat (63244FJ32V).
• Automatic updates use this public releases repository. Downloads respect your settings; installation waits for a restart you choose, with confirmation before stopping active sessions.
• Includes the redesigned workspace, persistent terminal tabs, session controls, and notch fixes from beta.2.

Install this signed version from its DMG if you have an earlier unsigned beta. Use arm64 for Apple Silicon or x64 for Intel.

Validation: both architectures passed strict signature checks, stapled notarization-ticket checks, Gatekeeper assessment, DMG/ZIP integrity checks, and update-metadata hash verification. All 13 unit tests and private CI passed. The packaged Apple Silicon GUI smoke test passed. Intel passed direct session creation, PTY output, navigation, and terminal-persistence checks under Rosetta; its full automated startup smoke test timed out, so that broader check remains unverified on native Intel hardware.

Known beta limitations: imported sessions are read-only; resuming starts a Dispatch-owned session. External activity depends on recorded transcript events.

Unsigned experimental beta: These installers are not Developer ID signed or Apple notarized. macOS may block normal installation. This is a testing prerelease, not a production-ready release.

Download arm64.dmg for Apple Silicon or x64.dmg for Intel Macs. ZIP files and blockmaps accompany the installers for update tooling.

Validation: 13 unit tests and source CI passed; the Apple Silicon packaged GUI smoke test passed. Both DMGs and ZIPs passed integrity checks. Intel GUI validation under Rosetta was stopped and is not claimed as passed. Automatic installation/upgrading has not been verified for these unsigned builds.

Workspace

• Redesigned session overview with aligned project, status, and activity columns.
• Simplified navigation and task composer, consistent dialogs, and improved terminal typography.
• Session search available from the title bar, sidebar, and Command+P.
• Small Rive companions scale to their containers without clipping.

Session and terminal controls

• Right-click sessions and tabs to open, rename, archive, restore, resume, or manage them.
• Close, reopen, and switch tabs without stopping their agents or losing terminal output.
• Independent terminal panel with multiple shells, resizing, search, and context actions.
• Command palette and familiar macOS shortcuts for tabs, terminals, search, and navigation.

Reliability

• Reject late IPC messages from destroyed windows and detached renderer frames, preventing shutdown error dialogs.
• Preserve terminal views across workspace navigation and panel hiding.
• Calculate working time from the current turn, including long transcripts; format long durations with readable units.
• Distinguish stale external activity from confirmed completion and deduplicate imported sessions.
• Improve notch hover, dismissal, and window callback cleanup.

Beta limitations

• Sessions imported from other apps are read-only; resume starts a Dispatch-owned session.
• External status depends on recorded transcript events. Silence is not treated as completion.
• Developer ID signing and Apple notarization are still pending. Use this unsigned prerelease for testing only.
