Vim navigation now feels immediate and predictable.

Highlights:

  • Replaces queued browser smooth scrolling with a Vimium-style held-key animator.
  • Stops j/k motion at key-up without the delayed acceleration or catch-up boost.
  • Keeps quick taps bounded and respects reduced-motion preferences.
  • Gives keyboard-focused sidebar threads a native filled selection surface instead of a thin outline.
  • Removes the redundant conversation NORMAL/PASS badge while keeping the composer mode indicator.

The macOS, Windows, and Linux installers and update feeds will be attached by the Fold desktop release workflow.
