T3 Code Fold 0.3.0 — Cyberpunk neon splatter
Pre-release
Pre-release
Cyberpunk neon splatter backdrop
The Cyberpunk palette was a flat wash of green with nothing behind the conversation. It now has a backdrop: neon green paint splatter over a grain texture, with cyan and magenta as sparing accents.
- Two corner clusters of generated splatter, sized in
vwso the composition holds from a phone up to an ultrawide, and vector throughout so it stays crisp at any density. - Each throw lays down a mass, satellites, hair-thin rays, mist, and an atomized haze of fine particles sized in absolute units, so a cluster reads as one sprayed surface.
- A repeating, desaturated grain tile over the whole chat canvas, lighter on the light half than the dark.
- Static, non-animating background layers on the canvas's own background rather than a fixed overlay, so they rasterize once and are never re-blended.
Also included: the 86-commit upstream sync that landed since 0.2.0.
Versions
Fold desktop and server 0.3.0, Android 1.2.0 (versionCode 20). fold-server-v0.2.0 was published from a commit predating this work and desktop 0.2.0 was never cut, so this release moves past it rather than reusing the version.
Mobile
The thread-canvas backdrop ships on Android but has not been verified on a device. It is scoped to the Cyberpunk theme and renders nothing for any other palette.
