Quantum entanglement of the image with its caption text & link data were periodically disrupted by either solar radiation or bit-flipping neutrinos (science hippies are investigating) which lead to png files travelling forward in time while the caption remained at a fixed Lagrange point holding a flashlight as they sped past. Fixed using the same cache-killer used to ensure the image doesn't stay fossilized in amber.
Additionally, HA's attempt to define multiple element instances was producing Tribble Trouble. Dammit, Jim, I'm a code doctor, not an invasive species.
