• OpenClaw refresh and reconnect recovery is boring again: Agent Chat and project chat now subscribe to live session events, preserve context-maintenance markers across reloads, and avoid reporting stale active streams after a run has already finished.
• Compaction and memory-maintenance notices no longer masquerade as assistant prose: compaction, memory flush, heartbeat, and skipped-maintenance markers are recognized only when they match anchored runtime notices, so ordinary chat text stays visible as normal conversation.
• Project chat avoids duplicate sends during gateway reconnect pressure: accepted persistent gateway RPC calls now fail visibly instead of retrying non-idempotent sends through a second socket that can disrupt the active stream.
• AI provider setup no longer writes unsupported OpenClaw model metadata: provider discovery now strips portal-only runtime fields before saving model config, preventing gateway restart failures on current OpenClaw builds.
• Codex/Gemini/Claude OAuth handoffs are more tolerant of terminal prompt changes: callback-paste prompts are detected even when the CLI renders them one character per line or with newer wording.
• Fresh installs require a Node.js version new enough for current OpenClaw: the installer now repairs old Node 22 minors and verifies Node.js 22.16+ before continuing.

• Dashboard health now detects stale OpenClaw gateway processes: admins get a clear version-mismatch warning and a controlled restart action when the installed OpenClaw package and running gateway listener diverge.
• Session and provider pickers stay usable while refreshing: Agent Chat keeps the current selection visible, shows inline loading states, and avoids replacing the whole control with a generic spinner.
• Remote Desktop launchers fit shared browser windows more reliably: bundled shared-browser and OpenClaw UI launch scripts now adapt to the VNC work area and preserve in-page navigation controls on compact desktops.
• Release packaging keeps the visual assets together: the tarball and hosted artifacts include the current favicon, logo, provider icons, Remote Desktop icons, noVNC icons, and portal branding assets.

Maintenance

• Regression coverage was extended for provider setup and OAuth prompt parsing: tests now protect model-config cleanup and callback prompt detection paths that previously depended on fragile CLI output shapes.
• Public release metadata was refreshed: README, changelog, hosted installer metadata, and LLM-facing product summaries now point at v3.25.12 without private deployment notes.
