This is the 3rd alpha testing release (0.3) of The Lunduke Computer Operating System (LCOS).
Some Noteworthy Changes in 0.3:
- Significant updates to packaging to improve future updates.
- Proper builds and packaging of recent version of XLibre.
- A new, experimental simple Update mechanism.
- A new, experimental painting program ("Lunduke Paint").
- Fixes for AppImage compatibility.
- A number of minor design tweaks (icon layout, etc).
- Improvements to the installer.
Known Issues:
- The upgrade path between point versions (0.3 to 0.4, etc.) is not fully tested yet (part of the alpha process).
- The installer is not final, as such artwork and text will change.
- There are a few very early, very rough features in 0.3 (Lunduke Paint, LCOS Update, and some themes).
Warning: LCOS 0.3 is very much an Alpha release and is primarily for testing purposes.
