Added

  • Optional per-user service for auto-switch on macOS (launchd) and Linux (systemd user service). Use xswap service install, status, logs, and uninstall.
  • The supervisor restarts the monitor after failures with a delay, while xswap auto off stops it cleanly. Installing the service while auto-switch is active migrates the running monitor without duplicate rotation.
  • The service uses a stable XSwap executable path when available, so package upgrades can keep it working.

The service is opt-in. Existing detached auto-switch behavior continues when it is not installed. Windows does not support this optional service yet.
