v0.1.7 — Bounded memory and evidence-aware practice

Vibe Code Learning now restores a small active learning context and retrieves detailed evidence by topic, including from large existing profiles. Archival preserves original learner reasoning, unresolved gaps, and separate explanation/navigation/modification evidence.

Code links follow the output surface and the user's actual editor choice. Historical citations remain tied to their commits when live checkout lines move. Optional small coding exercises and focused feedback use the learner's actual attempt and relevant checks.

• Existing schema-version-1 configurations remain compatible; no forced note migration.
• Installation instructions now point to v0.1.7. Older tags remain available for rollback; changing the skill version does not revert external notes.
• Validation covered 1000-row synthetic profiles, temporary link preferences, commit/live line differences, answer-free recall, coding practice, and feedback on an incomplete edit. An initial full-profile over-read led to an ordering correction and a successful fresh-agent retry.
• External editor launch, live Obsidian rendering, and long-term learning outcomes were not tested. See docs/validation.md for evidence and limits, and docs/design-notes.md for design sources.

v0.1.1 — First public release

First public release of Vibe Code Learning, an English-instructed Codex skill that teaches in the user's language.

Included

• Explain, Test, and Feedback modes for learning from real repositories and PRs.
• Project maps, execution flow, and verified file/function/line references tied to commits.
• Optional persistent learner memory and Obsidian notes, with personal data stored outside the skill repository.
• No-answer-first tests, evidence-based progress tracking, and correction of existing notes without erasing the learner's original reasoning.
• Installation, changelog, future release guidance, and rollback instructions.

Validation

Four isolated behavioral scenarios and one targeted follow-up were completed during local development. Skill format and internal links passed validation. The tested core skill files are unchanged in this public package. Interactive diagram rendering and long-term learning outcomes have not been validated; see the validation notes.

Install or restore

Use tag v0.1.1 to install or restore this exact version. See the README for commands. The attached ZIP contains the skill and public documentation; it excludes personal configuration and learning records.

This is the first published Git version. The earlier local prototype has no release tag. Full changes: CHANGELOG.md.
