MacDissect 1.0 for macOS 14 Sonoma or later (Apple silicon and Intel).

Install

  1. Open MacDissect.dmg and drag MacDissect to Applications.
  2. Open MacDissect. macOS says "Apple could not verify 'MacDissect' is free of malware". Click Done.
  3. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, click Open Anyway next to MacDissect, confirm, then click Open. You only need to do this once.

On macOS 14 Sonoma you can instead right-click the app and choose Open.

Or, after moving it to Applications, run in Terminal:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/MacDissect.app

This build isn't notarized by Apple yet, which is why macOS asks. Every Pro feature is unlocked for 7 days; after that the free features keep working and MacDissect Pro is $10/year.
