npm
While npm publishing is affected, use the installer below to get v0.9.0. The following command installs the version currently available under the npm latest tag, which may be older than this release:

Download the installer matching your OS and CPU architecture from this release's assets: Windows x64/arm64 EXE or macOS x64/arm64 DMG.
macOS Gatekeeper
After installing on macOS, if codexhost shows "Apple cannot verify this app" when you open it for the first time, run the following command in Terminal and reopen codexhost:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/codexhost.appContributors
