This script attempts to extract password protected archives using passwords new-line-separated text files.
Get Extractor:
Linux:
wget https://github.com/C-Hatton/extractor/archive/refs/tags/v1.0.0.tar.gz
tar -xf v1.0.0.tar.gz
cd extractor-1.0.0
And now, run ./extractor.sh with the below usage options.
Fedora Linux (installation)
wget https://github.com/C-Hatton/extractor/releases/download/v1.0.0/extractor-1.0.0-1.fc40.noarch.rpm
sudo dnf install extractor-1.0.0-1.fc40.noarch.rpm
And now, you can run extractor like any other command.
Usage: extractor -a -as -p [-d] [-sd]
Options:
-a, --archive Specify a single archive file or directory of the archive
-as, --archives Specify a multi-volume archive file (for .7z split archives)
-p, --passwords Specify the passwords file
-d, --delete Delete the archive after successful extraction
-sd, --secure-delete Securely delete the archive after successful extraction
-h, --help Show this help message
-v, --version Show the version of the script
