Shadow Bot 2.0

The upgraded version of the ShadowBot

just to be clear, this is a French bot and if we speak in English, that's because you know just one language. So, here is the little brother of ShadowBot, born alone in the dark place of a little French server that you will never know... (his name is Shadow, don't you dare ask why). But, by seeing his big bro, abandoned, weak and mocked, he swears "I WILL BE THE KING OF THE DISCORD BOT!" (I hope you get it) and starts his hard way, but with rage, to be harder, better, faster, stronger."

Installation

You can download the source code or clone this repository with git clone https://github.com/C0dex73/ShadowBot2.0/ Use yarn to build the ts scripts into js ones.

Setup Yarn

  npm i -g yarn

check if yarn is installed

  yarn -v

Setup ShadowBot2.0

Go to your project directory

  cd /path/to/my/project

Clone the repository

  git clone https://github.com/C0dex73/ShadowBot2.0/

Install dependencies

  yarn install

rename src/default_config.json to src/config.json replace values inside the config.json file with yours (token, database url / API key, etc...).

Start the bot

use build to build the src folder into the dist one

  yarn build

you can now run the ts or js code respectively :

  yarn run tsStart

and

  yarn run jsStart
