The CycleCloud-PBSPro Project is modified to create a cluster for SCHISM.
This project is based on CycleCloud-PBSPro v1.3.8. SCHISM version 5.10.1 is built with Intel oneAPI v2021.2, and the project is set up accordingly. The base OS image of the project is OpenLogic CentOS HPC 8.1.
To use the project, the project needs to be imported to the CycleCloud service.
Main changes from the previous release are:
- The SCHISM binaries are updated from v5.8.0 to v5.10.1.
- The binary is built on a CentOS 8 (or compatible) distro. Hence, the base image is now CentOS 8.1 HPC. And, this image uses OpenPBS v20. The previous version uses CentOS 7.9 HPC and PBSPro v19.
Download the project and unpack it.
Download assets (rpm files and the schism tar file) to the blobs directory in the project directory.
Build the project: $ cyclecloud project build
Upload the project: $ cyclecloud project upload _locker_name_
Import the template: $ cyclecloud import_template -f templates/openpbs-schism.txt
