Release Notes for v0.7.0 - 2025-05-14

Changes

  • Added this changelog and improved the README for open-source
  • Relicensed under Apache 2 and separated third party software that is distributed with LABEL under other licenses
  • Options for control trees and alignment have been removed along with associated third-party software
  • Third-party binaries have been updated to support linux/aarch64 as well as macos/arm64 for SAM via fat binary packaging (Shogun still uses Rosetta)
  • Added Github Actions
  • Removes obsolete modules

Release asset verification

A signed SHA-256 checksum was added to the release asset currently hosted on GitHub. Download the archive, its .sha256 checksum, and its .sha256.sigstore.json signature bundle to the same directory.

Authenticate the checksum with Cosign:

Then verify the archive:
