Arthur

Arthur is the controller node for Roundtable's CPU SLURM cluster. In accordance with Roundtable's naming scheme, it was dubbed "Arthur", after King Arthur Pendragon, the head of the knights of the Roundtable.

Installation

Arthur is set up as a SLURM controller. Please follow Setting up a SLURM controller for information on how to set it up.

Special bits about Arthur specifically?

Most of the Optiplexes (Optiplus?) that CIF owns from this generation (those that are presently in use for Roundtable in particular) are identical, though not identical to Arthur. Arthur and Zeta have slightly better processors than those, which should be noted.

Arthur has a custom MOTD, to welcome users. This is subject to change, for no other reason other than why not!
