IMO COMPENDIUM ON FACILITATION AND ELECTRONIC BUSINESS

  1. The Facilitation Committee, at its forty-sixth session (9 to 13 May 2022), approved the new version of the IMO Compendium on facilitation and electronic business, as set out in the HTML [1] publication available from the link provided in the annex.
  2. Member States are invited to bring the IMO Compendium to the attention of all parties concerned.
  3. Member States and international organizations are also invited to bring to the attention of the Committee, at the earliest opportunity, the results of the experience gained from the use of the Compendium for consideration of action to be taken.
  4. This circular revokes FAL.5/Circ.44 issued on 1 July 2021.
  5. The new version of the IMO Compendium includes the overview of changes from the last version.[1] In addition to the HTML publication of the IMO Compendium, an Excel version is available for downloading here
