No Android Studio or USB connection is needed.
iOS — developer proof of concept
Requires iOS/iPadOS 15+, a Mac, Xcode, and your own Apple signing account. Download and extract clarid-pocket-0.2.0-source.zip, keep the whole folder together, and follow the iOS developer instructions.
The device may require you to trust your developer certificate. Free Personal Team signing expires after seven days, requiring rebuilding and reinstalling through Xcode. This is a developer testing route; no public IPA, TestFlight invitation, or App Store download is provided.
Scanning, focus, zoom, settings, and update checks have been tested on a physical iPad.
Compatibility and privacy
Both platforms decode ClarID 0.04 subjects and biosamples in Human or Stub format, including disease labels. Scanning and decoding work offline; only manual update checks need internet. No scan history or identifier uploads.
Matching .sha256 files verify the APK and source archive downloads.
