Contains the "A15_nextflow" assignment on Canvas.

A15 required us to make a nextflow.config file and a allcaps.nf pipeline. This nextflow pipeline takes in an input string "Hello World" and outputs "HELLO WORLD".

v.A12

Contains the "A12_publish-module" assignment on Canvas.

A12 required us to write two Python scripts to validate crime data and get the median and mean age of victims from a dataset. We were also required to build a Python package for it and incorporate unit testing as well.

Contains the "A09_cron-tasks" assignment on Canvas.

A9 required us to write three cron jobs and answer some questions about cron. The jobs cleaned files from a directory, performed a weekly system backup, and emailed a daily disk usage report.

Contains the "A11_module-unit-testing" assignment on Canvas.

A11 required us to create a python script that defines a power and divide function, a python script that contains unit tests for those functions, and a shell script that calls the unit test script.

Contains the "6_airline_awk" assignment on Canvas.

A6 required us to use awk to extract data relating to airlines in a .csv file.

v.A5

Contains the "A5_if-then" assignment on Canvas.

A5 required us to write two scripts that utilize if and else-if statements in order to determine which age category someone belongs to and which temperature category a temperature belongs to.

Contains the "A4_basic-shell" assignment on Canvas.

There are four activities that display different messages in the terminal when the shell script is run. They utilize variables, math operations, positional arguments, and the built-in bash calculator.
