BingeSuggest-next is a modern movie suggestion and review web app, rewritten from the previous jQuery/Flask version using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind for a richer UI and better performance.

🛠 Running the App

Backend

cd backend/src/recommenderapp && gunicorn app:app -b localhost:5000

Frontend

• Install Node.js and Bun
• Clone repo, navigate to frontend, and install dependencies:

  bun install

• Start development server:

  bun run dev

• Build for production:

  bun run build
