Alpha 0.7
VR interaction and tracking
- Buttons, switches, doors, vehicles, and other usable objects follow the physical HMD viewing direction.
- Interaction overlays and activation use the same target.
- Meta and SteamVR runtime recentering preserves game-space rotation and tracked-rig alignment.
- Fixed physical head rotation disagreeing with artificial thumbstick rotation during interaction.
Menus
- Main, pause, and shared VR menus follow horizontal head yaw directly.
- Menus remain vertically upright; head pitch and roll no longer move or tilt them.
- Controller raycasting uses the current displayed menu pose.
Weapon scopes
- Precision Rifle and Sniper Rifle zoom now displays the native scoped game image on an OpenXR quad.
- Original zoom FOV, reticle, mask, and scope presentation are preserved.
- Normal stereoscopic VR resumes when zoom closes, the weapon changes, or a menu opens.
Weapon switching and handling
- Added an optional Fast Weapon Switch launcher setting; it is off by default, preserving the native selector and access to C4 and remote charges.
- Two-handed weapon alignment and gun alignment were adjusted for a better fit.
Vehicles
- Fixed the tilted gameplay horizon after exiting pitched vehicles, particularly the submarine.
- Vehicle exit stabilization clears residual pitch and roll while preserving player yaw.
The release includes the recommended installer and an advanced/manual binary ZIP.
