Install

• Claude desktop app (macOS): download monkeybread-mbs-plugin.skill below and double-click it.
• Claude.ai in a browser, as a single skill: Customize → Skills → upload monkeybread-mbs-plugin.zip below.
• Claude Code, claude.ai and Cowork as a plugin: install monkeybread-mbs-plugin from the cadenceux plugin marketplace (see the README).

monkeybread-mbs-plugin-v2.0.1.skill / .zip are the same files under versioned names. Don't install Source code (zip): it's a snapshot of the repository, not a packaged skill.

Packaging fix for GitHub installs, using cadenceux-skill-creator 2.1.2. No change to the skill's instructions or reference data.

Fixed

• GitHub source zips no longer install as a plugin. The repository root carries .claude-plugin/plugin.json for the marketplace, so Code → Download ZIP and Source code (zip) looked like a plugin to the Claude desktop app. A .gitattributes now leaves .claude-plugin/, evals/, maintainer/ and the git dotfiles out of those archives. The marketplace is unaffected.

Changed

• README install section links straight to the latest release's .skill and .zip and warns against the source zips.
• Releases now also attach unversioned monkeybread-mbs-plugin.skill and monkeybread-mbs-plugin.zip so the README links stay stable.

Verified

• validate_skill.py clean on the folder and on both release archives.
• Evals not re-run: no instruction or data change since the 2026-10-11 run.
