Today, we're announcing NewMod v1.2.5 — the Birthday Update 🎂 with tons of exciting features! Let’s dive in:
⚔️ New Role: Wraith Caller
- 🕵️ The Wraith Caller: Summon NPCs to silently hunt down your targets with precision.

✨ Changes & Additions
- 🎨 Custom Main Menu: A rebranded main menu, live from the birthday launch!
- 🏠 Custom Lobby: You asked for it, we delivered now waiting for you to explore! Preview available in the README.
- 🏷️ Player Tags: Special tags for creators, developers, and AOU devs! Regular players get the “Player” tag by default. Devs, submit an issue if you want your tag added!
- 🖱️ Custom Cursor: A brand-new permanent cursor style is here to stay!
- ⚕️ Role Compatibility: Necromancer and Medic can now spawn in the same match without conflicts.
- ⏱️ Birthday Countdown Toast: A live countdown in the lobby so you never miss the chaos!
📢 Important Notes
Warning
When you install this update, Birthday Content (Custom Main Menu, Custom Lobby, Wraith Caller) will be unlocked from August 28, 16:00 until September 4.
- Player Tags & the Custom Cursor are available immediately.
- The Wraith Caller will remain available even after the birthday event ends!
- Once the countdown hits 0:0:0:0, you won’t be kicked mid-game, but when you return to the lobby, everyone will be disconnected so the birthday content can be applied.

Please redownload the mod DLL file and replace it. All issues, including desync and player tags, have been addressed. Apologies for the delay the birthday update will now end on Sept 5th at 17:00 instead of Sept 4th
