This release expands camera compatibility and substantially improves the
preview and full-window experience.

New

  • Support for built-in MacBook cameras and Continuity Camera (but no setting changes possible)
  • Resizable split layout for camera preview and controls
  • Shared preview session between the main window and menu bar
  • Presets now preserve supported automatic-mode values

Improvements

  • Improved camera discovery and selection
  • Improved preview lifecycle and session handling
  • Better layout behavior on larger screens
  • Improved settings pane sizing
  • Correct slider snapping for controls with non-zero minimum values
  • Fixed memory leak and high CPU usage

Requirements

  • macOS 26 Tahoe or later
  • Apple Silicon Mac
  • UVC-compatible USB webcam for hardware controls

Built-in and Continuity cameras can be displayed even when they do not expose
UVC hardware controls.

Warning

This build is not signed or notarized by Apple. If macOS blocks it,
open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
