Please give the README.md file a once over, but to keep a long story short, I'll likely be abandoning this codebase in favour of creating a new one that employs MVC.

  • Most of the fancy animations are now supported.
  • Sounds and music have been added for the most part.
  • Fog-of-War is supported.
  • GUI code has been completely reworked.
  • Implemented capacity to add environments.
  • Added weather and random weather support (everything except logic: they're just graphical effects right now).

Don't know what "generate release notes" does but it can't hurt to give it a try:
