MochiPaw v1.2.0
What's New
- Embedded Pomodoro countdown: The main pet window now displays the Pomodoro
MM:SScountdown below the Live2D model without introducing a separate interactive window. (#92) - Pomodoro phase timeline: Preferences now show a color-coded focus, short-break, and long-break timeline with live segments, tooltips, completed-session totals, date selection, and automatically retained 30-day history. (#92)
- Faster Pomodoro controls: Start, pause, resume, reset, and skip actions are available through global shortcuts and visible shortcut controls, while settings and progress persist automatically. (#92)
- Readable timer presentation: Countdown text remains legible at small model scales, supports a configurable 50-200% display scale, and uses high-contrast rendering over transparent backgrounds. (#92)
- Reliable update descriptions: Update dialogs use the GitHub Release description when updater metadata does not contain notes, so users can review release details before installation. (#92)
- Restored Windows pass-through: Hover hiding and Cat Lock once again preserve mouse pass-through behavior without unexpectedly capturing input. (#91)
- Safer submodel windows: Transparent submodel windows ignore mouse input until their Live2D model is ready and rendered, preventing invisible windows from blocking desktop interaction. (#95)
- Stable model migration: Legacy model selections are migrated to stable IDs without stale persisted data overriding the active model or interrupting keyboard reactions. (#96, #97)
- Upgrade-state repair: Installations upgraded from the 1.1.6 line automatically repair legacy model and persistence state, removing the previous need to delete MochiPaw data under
%APPDATA%. (#97, #98) - Resilient persistence recovery: Malformed Pomodoro state can be recovered alongside other application stores, while incomplete custom-model scans no longer erase a valid saved selection. (#97, #98)
- Expanded runtime diagnostics: Device input, gamepad, updater, model loading, window lifecycle, and Pomodoro failures now include structured diagnostics for easier troubleshooting. (#97)
- Verified updater metadata: Stable 1.2.0 publishes the signed
latest-v2.jsonchannel and validates platform artifacts, URLs, versions, and signatures before publication. (#97, #98)
Clients on the 1.1.x updater channel use a retired signing key and must install v1.2.0 manually once. After the manual bridge installation, v1.2.0 and later releases use the current signed latest-v2.json channel for automatic updates.
