Make sure to locate the directory where your DWMBlurGlass application is installed after opening the configurator.
If this fails, open the "DWMBGConfigEditor.exe.config" file with a text editor, and change the following line:

<setting name="DWMBG_Directory" serializeAs="String"> <value />

to, for example, this:

<setting name="DWMBG_Directory" serializeAs="String"> <value>C:\DWM</value>

• You can also configure whether to auto-restart DWMBG and to also automatically change the StartIsBack++ accent color (if it detects that it is installed), by using the same method to edit the above config file.
• If you are changing DWMBG directories (for example, migrating to the official v2.1.x DWMBlurGlass), make sure to reinstall the app in the Task Scheduler by clicking "Uninstall" and then "Install" in the configurator.

The "fork-only" version is older but likely more stable. If you are not using the official DWMBlurGlass it is recommended to use that version of the configurator instead.
