Cave Command Edge Bridge 2.0.0

The free companion application for the Cave Command Edge widget.

The widget runs without it. Install this only if you want the audio panel: switching between two Windows playback devices, mute, and master volume.

Install

Download CaveCommandEdgeBridge-Setup.exe below (38.5 MB), then run it.

Windows SmartScreen may warn that the publisher is unrecognised, because the installer is not code-signed. Choose More info, then Run anyway, if you are happy to proceed.

The bridge installs under your local app data, starts automatically with Windows, and listens on 127.0.0.1:47139 only. The widget picks it up within a second or two, and the audio panel stops reporting "Audio bridge offline".

Notes

This release is trimmed: the installer is 38.5 MB, down from 118.8 MB, and the bridge itself is 28.5 MB rather than 85.3 MB.

Nothing leaves your PC. No account, no telemetry, no outbound network requests. The bridge binds to the loopback address only, so it is not reachable from your network or the internet.

Requires Windows and iCUE 5.47 or later.
