Working with HEXCraft source
You'll have to setup your development environment with forge, this is written for InteliJ IDEA, since that's what we're using.
There are plenty of guides for Eclipse as well floating around.
You'll have to grab a copy of Forge Mod Loader source, either one of the following versions will work.
- forge-1.7.10-10.13.2.1291
- forge-1.7.10-10.13.3.1420
-
Extract the archive somewhere and open command line in that directory and run
gradlew setupDecompWorkspace --refresh-dependencies -
Open InteliJ IDEA and import forge as a project and close the IDE (using build.gradle file)
-
Run
gradlew genIntellijRunsin the command line
Now you have Forge Mod Loader and InteliJ set up.
-
Delete everything inside the
src/folder and clone the git repo inside itgit clone https://github.com/CelesTek-Team/HexCraft.git .(don't forget the '.' at the end) -
Create a
libsdirectory and put all the libraries needed there, they're listed in the README -
Open InteliJ, open
build.gradleand add the following to the end of the file:idea { module { inheritOutputDirs = true } } -
Open the terminal tab inside InteliJ and execute
gradlew setupDecompWorkspace idea --refresh-dependencies
