Runtime Components

• The installer no longer ships PyTorch or llama.cpp binaries. It carries only the built-in Python 3.12 and the component catalog; install the combination you need yourself from Settings → Compute Devices.
• Components are stored in a runtimes folder inside your selected model storage location, so moving model storage moves them along with it.
• PyTorch, Python and llama.cpp installations already on your computer are discovered and reused automatically. A local PyTorch is only reusable when it is a cp312 build; any other version is reported as incompatible, with a prompt pointing at the option that does fit.
• Component state now distinguishes four cases: installed, not installed, install failed, and incompatible with the built-in Python.
• Installation reports five stages — download, verify, extract, resolve dependencies, check result — with elapsed time and a cancel button at any point. Cancelling keeps whatever has already been downloaded.
• Installing or repairing a component stops the engine automatically and restarts it afterwards; installation is refused while a session is running.
• Every install is verified against the selected version and backend afterwards, and a failed verification keeps the full pip log next to the component.
• Added a repair panel for reinstalling the PyTorch and llama.cpp components you already have, including a "force reinstall" option for an otherwise healthy component.
• Starting a session re-checks components first; when something is missing you get a prompt that jumps straight to the right panel.
• Two new checks catch hardware that no longer matches the saved configuration: a GPU that has been disconnected, and a selected device whose backend does not match the installed component.
• Fixed Torch 2.3.x combinations (DirectML, plus the 2.3.1 CUDA 12.1, CUDA 11.8 and CPU builds) failing to install or to start because of how their DLL directories were resolved.

• 新增环境修复面板，可重装已有的 PyTorch 与 llama.cpp 组件；对状态正常的组件也提供「强制重新安装」。
• 启动同传前会先复查组件，缺少组件时弹出提示并可一键跳转到对应面板。
• 新增两道拦截，专门捕捉与已保存配置不再匹配的硬件：指定显卡已断开，以及所选设备的后端与已安装组件不一致。
• 修复 Torch 2.3.x 组合（DirectML，以及 2.3.1 的 CUDA 12.1、CUDA 11.8 与 CPU）因 DLL 目录解析错误而装不上或起不来的问题。

2. Go to Settings → Browser Connection, enable the connection, and download the Chrome or Edge extension.
3. Extract the extension ZIP. Enable Developer mode on the browser’s extensions page, then load the extracted folder.
4. Open a supported video page, click the Nola captions button on the player, and start captioning.

When capturing a browser tab, select the current tab and enable audio sharing in the browser’s sharing prompt.
