Beta 1.7.1

  • Login Fix: Resolved an issue that prevented users from signing out of accounts in profiles.
  • Account Requirement for Installation: Users must have a valid Minecraft Java Edition account to install Minecraft versions. This change ensures compliance with Microsoft/Mojang’s EULA, as launching local versions is allowed, but installing versions without a legitimate copy would violate the terms.
  • Installer Update: The launcher is no longer installed in Program Files. It now installs in C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Local\OpenLauncher to avoid permission issues when running the game. Users must uninstall the previous version first to prevent duplicates. Existing launcher configurations and profiles will not be deleted during uninstallation.
