8 slots serialized variant-heavy page loads (~1500 queries on rpc-capabilities) past the function timeout; every revalidation died and unstable_cache froze staging on the deploy-window state for 2h. 64 bounds the burst while letting large loads finish; revisit once heavy benches read ocb:* recording rules.
