Luxaudica 1.2.0
One gate, and it is the only one.
Luxaudica is free, forever, in full — every scene, every look, every export. Two "Made with Luxaudica" marks drift across your output from the first launch, and a single purchase takes them off for good. There is no trial to start, no email to hand over, no clock to watch.
The trial is gone entirely. Nothing on the website mints keys any more, and the app no longer knows what a trial is. If you are holding a trial key, it keeps working to its expiry date — the marks return when the key runs out, on the day it always would have.
Free output carries two marks now instead of four — half as busy as it was. On live output and video, both marks sweep through the centre of the frame half a period apart, so no crop is a safe hiding place. Exported stills work differently: the two stamp positions vary per export, and consecutive exports never share a position, so a crop recipe tuned on one image leaves the next one untouched.
Paid licences are untouched — same activation, same seat, same unlimited offline tolerance. Nothing about buying, managing, or moving a licence has changed.

The 7-day trial now arrives as a key.
Enter your email at luxaudica.com and a trial key lands in your inbox. Paste it into the app and the watermark lifts for seven days — on exactly the same activation path a paid licence uses. When the week ends, the watermark returns by itself.
If Luxaudica is already installed and you are mid-trial, nothing changes: the week you were promised runs to its end, exactly as before. Paid licences are untouched too, including the unlimited offline tolerance they have always had. Trial keys are held to a stricter standard offline — ten days without a successful check and the watermark returns.
Nothing about the free tier changes. Luxaudica remains free forever; nothing ever locks; the watermark stays the only thing a licence removes.
Under the hood: the trial clock has moved off your Mac and onto the key itself, so it now survives reinstalls, new machines, and deleted settings — it simply is what the key says it is.

Simple gains a seventh room: Home.
The living-room and TV-art-mode look is one of the two best-covered things in the library, and there was no door to it. There is one now — 54 of the 82 scenes are in it, across all three energy bands. The peak-time club drivers, the corridor-flight family and the children's scenes stay out; they were not made for a living room.
If you already have Luxaudica installed, the Home room arrives filled. Looks you had already filed keep their filing exactly as it was — nothing is re-sorted, nothing is replaced, and a look you deliberately filed nowhere stays nowhere. Home is added only to looks whose own scene already belongs there, once, and never again.
Under the hood: the scene map behind the website and the docs has been recounted against the 82 scenes that actually ship — it had been asserting 71 — and the children's half of that map gained five rooms it was missing. Neither changes anything you can see in the app. Both are now guarded by a test, so the map cannot quietly drift away from the library again.

If you have bought a licence, nothing changes — your output stays clean.
If you are on the free tier, this is the visible difference, and it is
the only thing a licence removes. The app itself is untouched: every
scene, every control, every output still works exactly as before, free
and forever. Nothing locks.
Two scenes look better when the music peaks. Tunnel Run and Terrain used
to wash out at the drop — the tunnel drifted toward a pale teal and the
front blocks of Terrain bleached to near-white. They now hold their
colour, so a peak reads as brighter and more saturated rather than
flatter.
Under the hood: the mark can no longer fail silently. If the app cannot
draw it for any reason, it now marks the frame anyway rather than
handing back a clean one, and the projector output is checked in real
pixels the same way the main window already was.

The app now talks to the live store, so a key bought on luxaudica.com
activates on this Mac and removes the free-tier mark permanently.
Everything else here is under the hood: how releases are packaged and
described, and test work that keeps recordings and exports out of your
own Movies and Pictures folders.

live output and exports.
