🔐 Security Updates

Updated core dependencies to address known security vulnerabilities and improve overall dependency security.

Also updated eslint-config-next to 15.5.28.

🛠️ Maintenance & Tooling

• Migrated from the deprecated next lint command to the ESLint CLI.

• Modernized ESLint configuration using defineConfig and FlatCompat for compatibility with Next.js 15.

• Enabled all 21 Next.js recommended and Core Web Vitals lint rules.

• Preserved existing TypeScript, React Hooks, and custom lint rules.

• Updated the dependency lockfile for reproducible dependency resolution.

⚠️ Known Limitations

• The dependency security audit could not complete because of npm registry DNS resolution failures. Remaining vulnerabilities have not been fully assessed.

• Frozen-lockfile installation could not be independently verified because of a Bun temporary-directory permission error (EPERM).

📦 Release Impact

This is a security and maintenance release. No application feature changes are intended.

Recommended action: Deploy the updated application after completing the release verification and dependency audit in an environment with working registry access.
