OrbitKey v0.1.4
π OrbitKey v0.1.4: The macOS Masterclass Update
This update brings massive stability improvements, particularly for macOS users. We've completely overhauled how the Action Ring handles window focus, mouse events, and system shortcuts to provide a native, buttery-smooth experience! π
π Bug Fixes & Quality of Life Improvements
Perfected macOS Mouse Interactions: Fixed a critical issue where the Action Ring required a "click-and-drag" to detect hover states. Hover effects and clicks now register instantly across all spaces and fullscreen apps.
Bulletproof Shortcut Execution: Rewrote the macOS shortcut simulator to use AppleScript instead of native C-bindings. Executing shortcuts like Cmd+C or Cmd+V will no longer crash the app if Accessibility permissions are missing.
Cross-Language Shortcut Support: Fixed a focus-delay bug where simulating shortcuts would misbehave (e.g., pasting as Ctrl+A) when using a non-English keyboard layout (like Thai). OrbitKey now strictly uses hardware key codes.
Fixed "Start with OS" Toggle: Resolved a state-sync bug and Tauri plugin conflict that prevented the Autostart setting from saving correctly in the Settings Panel.
βοΈ Under the Hood
Replaced DOM-based onMouseMove events with a high-performance 60FPS Tauri cursor polling mechanism to reliably bypass macOS background-window restrictions.
Cleaned up redundant tauri_plugin_autostart initializations for better app startup stability.
Refactored setting interfaces (startWithOs) to perfectly match Rust's backend serialization.
