AudioAtlas 0.2.0a8 — Public Alpha

AudioAtlas turns one local audio file into a portable listening map: measured
context, clear plots, and bounded places to check by ear—measurements, not grades.

The recommended route is the Python 3.11+ package and CLI:

What changed

• Clearer Compact/Standard/Full report context, overview navigation, finding-card
  boundaries, plot captions, return links, wrapping, and print behavior.
• Manifest-derived output ownership with collision refusal.
• Private source binding for safe report reuse.
• GUI traceback containment and guaranteed DMG cleanup.
• Path-aware macOS Mach-O dependency resolution.
• Exhaustive Windows PE/import inventory and candidate-to-audit integrity binding.
• Bounded, streamed ZIP verification.

The eight reviewed desktop-hardening findings are source-closed and mocked
native-tool adversarial tests pass. This release intentionally includes no
native desktop binary. Real signed/notarized macOS artifacts,
Authenticode-signed Windows artifacts, and clean-machine acceptance remain
separate gates; no desktop binary should yet be represented as generally
release-ready.
