AI4Math Chronicle v0.1.3
AI4Math Chronicle v0.1.3 is a v0.1.x maintenance snapshot centered on historical depth, field-building coverage, and search-engine / AI discovery infrastructure.
The snapshot contains 135 canonical Events — 13 H1 Historical Milestones, 119 H2 Field Milestones, and 3 H3 Context Events — up from 78 Events in v0.1.2. The Timeline now reaches back to 1955.
Highlights
- Historical coverage back to 1955: 57 new canonical Events since v0.1.2 substantially deepen the pre-LLM history of AI for Mathematics, including early automated theorem proving, symbolic integration, resolution, proof-assistant foundations, automated conjecturing, formalization, and learning-guided proving.
- Stronger proof-assistant and theorem-proving lineages: expanded and corrected relationships across LCF, HOL, Isabelle, Coq, Nuprl, Mizar, TPTP, Flyspeck, Sledgehammer, Lean, mathlib, LeanDojo, and related systems.
- Evidence-disciplined historical chronology: historical records use precise public research anchors when exact development dates are unavailable rather than inventing day-level precision, while prose preserves earlier development history and avoids unsupported priority claims.
- Field-building coverage: the ratified
field_buildingEvent Type and restrictednot_applicabletaxonomy values now support historically significant venues, governance, norms, and scholarly-infrastructure milestones without weakening H1 or verification gates. - SEO / GEO discovery infrastructure: added webmaster verification assets, stronger machine-readable discovery surfaces, and post-deploy IndexNow notification support while preserving semantic static HTML and canonical Event pages as the primary discovery asset.
- Canonical-data model preserved: YAML remains the single factual source for Timeline, Event Detail, Search & Explore, JSON, NDJSON, RSS, sitemap, and AI-readable outputs.
This release remains inside the frozen v0.1 product and editorial contract. Historical significance, evidence maturity, event-level verification, formal assurance, and ultimate mathematical correctness remain separate dimensions; inclusion in the Chronicle does not constitute independent certification of an underlying mathematical claim.
AI4Math Chronicle v0.1.2
AI4Math Chronicle v0.1.2 is a substantial v0.1.x maintenance snapshot focused on corpus expansion, product coherence, structured discovery, and a more mature scholarly reader experience.
The snapshot contains 78 canonical events — 13 H1 Historical Milestones, 63 H2 Field Milestones, and 2 H3 Context Events — up from 51 events in v0.1.1.
Highlights
- Expanded historical coverage: added 27 canonical Events across 2020–2026, strengthening coverage of theorem proving, autoformalization, mathematical reasoning, benchmarks, AI-assisted discovery, and research infrastructure.
- Stronger evidence and provenance: refreshed source evidence across the corpus, added inspectable primary artifacts where available, and strengthened provenance, attribution, relationship, and dispute records for several high-significance Events.
- Deterministic source discovery: introduced GitHub-native Source Leads, versioned source channels, auditable arXiv discovery, and verified RSS discovery while keeping discovery manual-review-first and non-publishing.
- Clearer product model: established Timeline as the historical browsing surface, Search & Explore as the structured retrieval surface, Event Detail as an insight-first evidence-backed record, and About as the project orientation, citation, reuse, and contribution hub.
- Much stronger Search & Explore: restricted Pagefind to canonical Event pages, unified text search and structured facets, added multi-select filtering, advanced grouped facets, shareable URL state, contextual sorting, and mobile-native result presentation.
- Modern Scholarly Editorial information design: introduced task-aware page hierarchy, bilingual typography, semantic Event modules, visible chronology chapters, improved information density, and more deliberate evidence / trust presentation.
- Semantic color and visual identity: established a restrained semantic color architecture and a controlled AI × Mathematics × Scholarly Archive ornament system. The accepted production identity uses signature treatments on Home, Standards & Methodology, About, plus a restrained global Footer echo.
- Responsive and accessibility hardening: added representative mobile task-first budgets, long-title / long-summary edge-case protection, compact mobile navigation, accessible multi-select controls, explicit zero-result recovery, and horizontal-overflow regression coverage.
- Real-browser regression testing: added a pinned Chromium / Playwright gate covering critical reader interactions, responsive behavior, accessibility contracts, bilingual presentation, theme behavior, and the stabilized visual-identity profile.
- Durable project governance: added the GPT Governance Protocol, canonical project-state recovery, explicit human hard gates, and repository-native long-term maintenance / handoff rules for AI-assisted project stewardship.
This release remains inside the frozen v0.1 product and editorial contract:
One event, one canonical record, many ways to consume it.
Canonical YAML remains the factual source of truth for Timeline, Event Detail, Search & Explore, JSON, NDJSON, RSS, sitemap, and AI-readable outputs.
The Chronicle continues to distinguish historical significance, evidence maturity, event-level verification, formal assurance, and ultimate mathematical correctness. Inclusion or verification metadata should not be read as the Chronicle independently certifying the correctness of an underlying mathematical claim.
AI4Math Chronicle remains a static, bilingual, GitHub-native historical archive. Corrections, missing-event proposals, source leads, evidence updates, translation improvements, and website contributions remain welcome through GitHub Issues and Pull Requests.
AI4Math Chronicle v0.1.1
AI4Math Chronicle v0.1.1 is a maintenance snapshot focused on stronger evidence semantics, long-term maintainability, and a more mature public project identity.
The canonical corpus remains at 51 events — 11 H1 Historical Milestones, 38 H2 Field Milestones, and 2 H3 Context Events — while several high-significance records received stronger corroboration evidence and more precise verification metadata.
Highlights
- Clearer verification semantics: refined
independently_verifiedas event-level independent corroboration, explicitly separate from certifying the ultimate mathematical correctness of an underlying claim. - Stronger H1 evidence: revisited high-significance records with additional independent sources, artifact evidence, replay status, and dispute tracking where appropriate.
- Long-term maintenance policy: documented the Chronicle's event-driven maintenance model, correction priority, corroboration review, corpus-health review, dependency policy, and snapshot release strategy.
- README timeline fix: corrected the Hero timeline so
2020,2023,2025, and2026each map one-to-one to a timeline node. - New SVG brand identity: introduced the AI4Math Chronicle mark — a geometric
Aintegrated with an evidence timeline — and applied it consistently to the site header, footer, and favicon. - More mature homepage: added concise credibility signals for evidence, verification status, canonical records, and correctability without displacing the timeline as the primary interface.
- Clearer paths for participation: added dedicated entry points for researchers, machine-readable data and AI workflows, and open-source contributors.
- Improved project presentation: expanded the bilingual footer and strengthened Open Graph, Twitter, and structured Web metadata.
This release preserves the v0.1 product and editorial contract:
One event, one canonical record, many ways to consume it.
Canonical YAML remains the factual source of truth for timeline pages, event detail pages, search, RSS, sitemap, JSON, and NDJSON exports.
AI4Math Chronicle remains an open, bilingual, evidence-backed historical archive. Corrections, missing-event proposals, source updates, translation improvements, and website contributions are welcome through GitHub Issues and Pull Requests.

Editorial model
AI4Math Chronicle separates:
- historical significance
- evidence strength
- verification status
- AI contribution
- human contribution
A historically important event may still remain under verification. Claims that have not been independently established are represented explicitly as such rather than being presented as settled mathematical results.
The v0.1 corpus follows the principle:
One event, one canonical record, many ways to consume it.
Timeline pages, Event Detail pages, search, RSS, sitemap, JSON, and NDJSON are all derived from the same canonical event records.
Data and machine-readable access
Canonical and generated data are available through the public repository and website, including:
- YAML event records
events.jsonevents.ndjson- JSON Schema
- RSS feed
- sitemap
llms.txt
The project is designed to remain usable by both human readers and AI-assisted research workflows.
Contribution and corrections
Public contributions are welcome through structured GitHub Issues and Pull Requests, including:
- new event proposals
- factual corrections
- source and verification updates
- translation improvements
- website and accessibility fixes
Final decisions involving H1 historical significance, independently verified status, or claims of new mathematical facts remain subject to human editorial review.
