Changes since v1.0.0
- Added the ASIO Drop Pedal engine for RS_ASIO setups. It shifts raw guitar input before Rocksmith receives it, so stock tones, custom tones, the tuner and note detection all consume the shifted signal.
- Kept the Cable Drop Pedal as the fallback engine for Real Tone cable setups without RS_ASIO.
- Added launch-time engine reporting in the overlay and debug log.
- Moved pedal key sampling onto a faster thread and made all pedal keys except
F8respect the disabled state. - Hardened the input shifter at extreme up-shifts and isolated the overlay plate render state.
- Added ASIO guitar-to-bass guidance and split the documentation into dedicated ASIO and Cable Drop Pedal guides.
Install
Download xinput1_3.dll and place it next to Rocksmith2014.exe, replacing the RSMods DLL. Back up an existing RSMods xinput1_3.dll first if you want to restore plain RSMods later.
