First public release of the PadLink Windows companion.

What the setup wizard does

  • Installs the PadLink companion app (self-contained, no .NET install needed)
  • Installs the ViGEmBus virtual gamepad driver (skipped if already present)
  • Adds a firewall rule for UDP 7777
  • Launches PadLink showing the pairing QR code

Highlights in 0.12.0

  • Virtual Xbox 360 (XInput) controller — works with Steam and emulators out of the box
  • QR-code pairing with token authentication, plus active disconnect with session reset
  • Trackpad mode: cursor, two-finger scroll (invertible), pinch zoom, and typing from the phone keyboard
  • Close-to-tray and optional run-at-startup (minimized to tray)

SmartScreen note: the exe is unsigned for now — Windows will warn once. Choose More info → Run anyway.
