Known limits

Curtain is a visual privacy overlay, not a Windows sign-in lock or a security boundary, and it cannot prevent screenshots or screen recording. Separate top-level UI such as some IME candidate windows may remain visible. Blur strength is not adjustable, and the list of protected running windows does not persist after restarting Curtain. Windows 10 runtime compatibility has not been independently tested; this beta has been tested primarily on Windows 11.

Installation

The installer is not code-signed. Verify that the installer comes from the official Curtain repository or update domain. Do not disable Windows security protections to install it.
