Highlights

  • Project credentials win over env vars — .cems/credentials in a project always takes priority over environment variables, preventing env var bleed across projects
  • MCP graceful no-op — all tools and resources return a friendly "not configured" message instead of crashing when no credentials exist
  • Interactive project setup — cems setup --project now prompts for API URL/key when flags omitted; global setup offers project vs global storage choice
  • get_credentials_env() fix — subprocess environments now respect the new credential precedence

New order:

  1. Per-project .cems/credentials (walk up from CWD)
  2. Environment variables (CEMS_API_URL + CEMS_API_KEY)
  3. Global ~/.cems/credentials
