v3.19.2 - Validation Release

Purpose: End-to-end validation of Feature 009 update system functionality

Overview

This is a validation release with no code changes. It enables comprehensive testing of the complete update workflow introduced in Feature 009 (Force Install Update).

This release validates:

  • Download URL accessibility
  • WordPress plugin update detection

✅ Force Update UI

  • "Check for Updates" button functionality
  • Update availability detection
  • Version comparison accuracy

✅ Force Reinstall Operation

  • GitHub download process
  • ZIP extraction and validation
  • Plugin file replacement
  • Version migration (3.19.1 → 3.19.2)

✅ Update History Tracking

  • History entry creation
  • 7-day retention validation
  • FIFO cleanup (max 5 entries)
  • Timestamp accuracy

✅ Permission Error Fixes (v3.19.1)

  • Confirms RecursiveDirectoryIterator error handling works
  • Validates graceful degradation with fallback estimates
  • Tests isReadable() checks function correctly

Installation

Automatic Update (Recommended)

  1. Navigate to Settings → Universal Form Tracker → Force Update
  2. Click "Check for Updates"
  3. Click "Force Reinstall" when v3.19.2 appears

Manual Update
