What's new in 1.0.3

Changed

  • The ½× / 1× / 2× tempo buttons now work before you import a beat. Your choice is applied as soon as a track comes in, and Keygrid remembers it the next time you open the app.
  • The piano is playable before you import a beat. Play scale and Play chord turn on once a key is detected.

Install

Mac (Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 11 or newer)

  1. Download Keygrid_1.0.3_universal.dmg below and open it.
  2. Drag Keygrid into Applications.
  3. First time only: open Keygrid once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.

Windows (Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit)

  1. Download Keygrid_1.0.3_x64-setup.exe below and open it.
  2. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Follow the installer. Keygrid appears in your Start menu.

Your history in Previous carries over when you update.
