Creating a Nexus Collection
In Amethyst you can create and upload a collection to Nexus. This is similar to exporting a profile and uploaded collections show up on the Nexus site like any other. They are also cross compatible with Vortex.
To start make sure you are on the profile you want to upload and select the Nexus dropdown > Collections > Create Collection
You will be shown a similar interface to the profile export interface
Here is what the columns for each means and what they do
- Nexus - If the mod has a modid and fileid it will be added to the manifest as Nexus as the source of the mod.
- Direct URL, Browse Page, Browse Page, Manual - For off site mods
- Bundle - For mods with no source eg. Pandora output, modified settings etc
- Ignore - The mod is ignored and not added to the collection
Note if a mod has a modid and fileid, it cannot be bundled
- The version you have in your modlist will be selected but you can change it here
- You Fomod settings are automatically added. If you want to prevent this so a user needs to run the Fomod selections, untick this box
- Tick this if you want the mod to be optional upon downloading
- In the collection installer, mods downloaded in phase order. You can use this to force which order they download in
- For Amethyst this is slightly different to Vortex. It only affects Fomod mods at the end of the install.
- Controls if the installer should use the exact version you export or the latest version of the mod
- If diff patches should be added to the export. If you edit a mod, for example by cleaning a plugin in xedit, you can export the edit as a diff patch that gets applied on install. You will require the mods original archive to do this but it will prompt to redownload it if missing
- Only mods without fileID - Only shows non nexus mods
- Save settings / Load Settings - Save the current settings so you can come back to it later
- Upload target - Create a new collection or overwrite an existing one
- Collection Name - The title of the collection
- Game version - The game version the collection is built on, Should be auto detected in most cases
- Suggest a new profile on install - Turn on to make it so the collection cannot be appended and a new profile must be made
- Contains Adult content - Nexus will auto set this if any mods are marked as NSFW
- Exclude plugin rules - Does not write plugin rules to the manifest
- Include Profile ini files - Exports profile specfic ini files
- Upload Revision - Exports and uploads the collection to Nexus
