ScvmBot v1.0.0
ScvmBot 1.0 is here.
This is the first full public release of the bot, and it finally feels like a real one. MÖRK BORG support is in, multi-character generation is in, PDF export is in, the CLI exists, and the project structure is finally in a place where adding more later does not mean making the whole thing worse.
What’s in v1.0
MÖRK BORG support
- Single-character generation through Discord
- Multi-character generation in one command
- Classed and classless generation
- Standard and heroic rolling
- Starting gear, omens, HP, vignette, and the rest of the core generation flow
File output
- Filled PDF character sheet export
- ZIP output for multi-character generation
CLI host
- Local generation without Discord
- Shared generation pipeline with the bot host
- Benchmarking support for testing and tuning performance
Under the hood
- Refactored into separate bot, CLI, module, game logic, and PDF projects
- Added module discovery and a shared renderer pipeline
- Tightened generation and command contracts
- Expanded the test suite hard
- Cleaned up the architecture so future game systems have somewhere sane to live
This is the point where ScvmBot stopped being a bot I was messing with and started feeling like an actual software project.
A lot of the work in this release is not flashy. It is structure, cleanup, tests, contracts, and all the less-fun stuff that makes future work possible without regretting every earlier decision. That work matters. It is the reason this can be a real v1.0 instead of just a version number I slapped on a side project.
