What’s changed

This maintenance release addresses issues and recommendations identified during the Obsidian Community Plugins review.

Improvements

  • Removed the redundant plugin name heading from the settings page.
  • Added searchable settings support for Obsidian 1.13 and later.
  • Improved Chinese and Unicode filename sanitization.
  • Improved compatibility with Obsidian popout windows.
  • Replaced direct DOM creation with Obsidian-native helpers.
  • Updated destructive file-deletion buttons to the current Obsidian API.
  • Added GitHub artifact attestations for release assets.
  • Improved the GitHub Actions release workflow so existing Releases can be updated safely.

Verification

  • TypeScript type checking passed.
  • All 47 automated tests passed.
  • Production build completed successfully.

Installation

Download these three files and place them in:

<Vault>/.obsidian/plugins/release-file-publisher/

  • main.js
  • manifest.json
  • styles.css

Restart Obsidian, then enable Release File Publisher under Settings → Community plugins.
