Modpack permission

DoomCraft may be included in public or private modpacks when:

  1. the mod is identified as DoomCraft;
  2. Chromus Master is credited as the project author;
  3. the original CurseForge project is referenced;
  4. the mod is not presented as created or officially maintained by the modpack author;
  5. the standalone JAR is not extracted from the pack and offered as an independent mirror;
  6. WADs and third-party content comply with their own licenses.

A modpack must not distribute commercial or otherwise restricted WADs without permission.

Official binary distribution

The project designates CurseForge as the official distribution channel for public DoomCraft JAR releases.

Please do not mirror or re-upload the standalone JAR to:

  • Modrinth;
  • personal sites;
  • forums;
  • Discord file attachments;
  • cloud drives;
  • file-hosting services;
  • advertisement or link-shortener pages;
  • paid download services.

Source code, patches, build scripts, and license notices remain available in the public GitHub repository.

DoomCraft is licensed under GPL-3.0-only. Nothing on this page replaces the rights and obligations established by the applicable software licenses.

WAD policy

DoomCraft does not include WADs.

Users and modpack maintainers are responsible for confirming that any WAD they use or distribute is legally permitted.
